High school junior Dylan Skidmore is not Italian, but that's of no matter. He has been pursuing all things Italian — taking an Italian language course at Glassboro High School, joining its Italian club, dancing with its new Italian folk troupe, making pasta and pizza, and waiting for the club's spring trip to Italy.
His motive for all of this is simple. "I love the Italian people like my teacher — so hospitable and outgoing. I fell in love with the language and the culture and wanted to learn more and I can't wait to travel to Italy with my classmates," said an enthused Skidmore, most of whose fellow language students are of Italian descent.
