Twelfth in a series of all-day professional development programs for teachers of Italian at all levels, consisting of a keynote presentation, panel discussion and four intensive workshops (90 minutes each). An annual signature collaboration between the Coccia Institute for the Italian Experience in America and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Montclair State University.

Join our dynamic and experienced specialists in instructional methodology in foreign language. The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Silvana Ferreri, Università degli Studi della Tuscia-Viterbo. Workshops to be conducted by Margherita Berti, University of Arizona at Tucson; Sandra Cardilicchia, Garden City High School, Garden City, NY; and Simone Casini and Salvatore Bancheri, University of Toronto. Symposium Chair and Panel Moderator: Prof. Enza Antenos (Montclair State University). Participants will be awarded seven professional credits. The Coccia-Inserra Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Teaching of Italian (K-12) will be presented on this occasion.
