Students from grade school to high school who want to get away to Italy this summer need travel no farther than Casa Italia in Stone Park.
The Casa's Italian Language & Culture Summer Camp will introduce children ages 4 to 16 to the language and culture of Italy through drama, storytelling, arts and crafts, games, sports, dance, music, cuisine and film. Main Street Opera will conduct a two-day musical workshop. The camp will conclude with a performance by the children and a family picnic luncheon with a petting zoo, pony rides, a water slide and other activities.
