Joseph Carochi, who recently graduated from Cañon City High School and was the battalion commander for the JROTC program, was named the Cañon City Noon Lions Student of the Month. The son of Joe and Audra Carochi, his recent grade point average was 4.29.
He took Spanish, AP Calculus, Honors European Literature and LETV III. Carochi has received many JROTC awards and the ADDA Presidential award, he was named on the honor roll and was a member of the National Honor Society. Carochi also played football four years and was a member of the Raider Platoon, Color Guard, Drill Team, JLAB, NHS and student council. He volunteered with the Fremont County Republican Central Committee and the Sons of Italy.
