Robert A. Gervasi has been named the interim president for the University of Mount Union. The University of Mount Union Board of Trustees announced Tuesday that Gervasi will serve as the interim president for the upcoming academic year and will succeed Thomas J. Botzman, who announced last month that he plans to retire June 30. Gervasi is expected to begin his new role on June 27.
As Gervasi arrives on the private campus of 2,100 students, Mount Union will begin its search for the university's 14th president. The board plans to work with an outside consultant to conduct the search, the university has said.
