The Faiello family of Stark County spans decades and countries. Nearly 100 members of the clan gathered Saturday night at McCall's Restaurant and Banquet Center to celebrate a long family history and to welcome seven relatives from Italy.
The party — titled "Festa Faiello" — was more than a typical family reunion, however. Decades ago, Carmela (Logozzo) Faiello, who raised 15 children in Magnolia with her husband, Rocco, faithfully mailed letters, cards and photographs to relatives in Italy.
