An Italian Dinner and Talk on "Living in Rome: Duties, Distractions and Delights" will be given by Sara Boi on Tuesday, June 25, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Penobscot Language School, 28 Gay St. The public is welcome to this cultural and social evening in English. A table will be designated for those who wish to converse in Italian over dinner.
Boi will talk after the dinner of the secret treasures of residing in Rome, believing there is much that tourists may generally miss. This spring Boi has been a visiting teacher of Italian at the Penobscot Language School. A lifetime resident of Rome, Boi is a teacher in the Pontifical University to nuns and priests from around the world to come serve in the Vatican, engaging them in both the Italian language and the Italian culture.
