The Department of Modern Language Studies welcomes applications for a one-year, non-continuing full-time Italian lecturer for the 2014-2015 academic year, beginning in August 2014. M.A. degree in Italian language, literature, or culture required, Ph.D. preferred.
Applicants should have at least two years teaching experience at the university level and must demonstrate excellence in teaching. Duties include teaching undergraduate level Italian language and culture; candidates with experience teaching film, culture, and women's studies preferred. Candidates should be willing to advise students in Italian minor program.
Native or near-native fluency in Italian required.
