Italian food, like too few other things, brings people together. It can be vegetarian-friendly, but also appease meat-lovers. Some dishes are comforting and stick to the ribs; others are light and healthy. It's equally beloved by all ages — toddlers like it just as much as grandmothers. It's popularity is vast.
Earlier this year, the National Restaurant Association reported that 61 percent of Americans eat Italian food at least once a month. It was no surprise, then, to see a wide range of ages among the diners at CuVino, a restaurant and wine shop that opened last August in Timonium.
