Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana expanded to a fifth state Monday, with the grand opening of its Bethesda, Md. location in the Westfield Montgomery Mall. "It took nearly a century for America's best pizza to arrive in Bethesda," the pizzeria posted on its Facebook page. "Some things are worth the wait."
This is the first Pepe's outside of the Northeast. The New Haven-based legacy restaurant is reportedly planning another outpost in the greater Washington D.C. area, in Alexandria, Va., and another in southeastern Florida.
