If you're looking for a taste of Florence, Naples, Rome and Venice without shelling out thousands of dollars in airfare, consider stopping by Gallo's Italian Fine Foods Meats & Deli in Lower Milford Township. The business, selling homemade Italian meats, pasta, salads and more, opened Dec. 18 at 1463 Limeport Pike.
The building is north of Limeport Inn and has been home to several businesses over the years, including Woodstove Warehouse and Fegely Dairy. "Most places aren't manufacturing their own products anymore, but that's just the way I do things," said Center Valley's Frank Gallo, who runs the business with his wife, Dawn.
