Venti Tre (3731 Boston St., 410-563-0302, venti-tre.com), opening March 18 at The Shops at Canton Crossing, is a new fast-casual concept from Fazoli's, the nation's largest chain of quick-service Italian restaurants.
Venti Tre (which means 23 in Italian) features a customizable menu with 23 fresh toppings every day. The toppings -- things like fried capers, focaccia croutons, roasted broccoli and sliced hot soppressata -- can be added into the customer's choice of pasta, salad or piada (a wrap-like sandwich).
