Bella Italiana launches Tuesday at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino with an Italian-American menu that's simpler than the one at Wild Earth Cucina Italiana, which it replaces. Wild Earth closed Sunday. The new version of the Italian restaurant has more traditional Italian-American dishes, according to an announcement by the casino, 1721 W. Canal St.

"We are creating a more approachable concept to better serve our guests," Don Sally, the casino's food ad beverage director, said in the written statement. "Bella Italiana will feature a broader and traditional menu that will appeal to our guests' tastes, and that's what's most important to us."
