Chef Micheal Kramer, the opening executive chef of McCrady's (pre-Sean Brock), has spent the past three years in Greenville, SC with the Table 301 Restaurant Group. He also took on the role of executive chef at acclaimed eatery The Lazy Goat . Now, for his next project, Kramer will open Jianna on the second floor of 600 S. Main St. in January 2017.

Jianna will be a modern Italian restaurant with views of Falls Park. The menu will have fresh pastas, crudos, antipasti dishes, and raw oysters. "Now I'm cooking the food I want to eat. I've run the four and five star kitchens and its fun, but it's not as approachable for people to eat every night," says Kramer.
