Things are moving at Leonardo's Gelateria in Barre. mLoris Carlo DePrato was born and raised in Italy in a family that was passionate about gelato - ice cream's Italian cousin.
"My great grandpa started in mid-1800s," said Loris. When he opened up his first scoop shop in Germany he was the fourth generation to carry on the family business. "I grew up in a scoop shop in the old days when you were old enough you had to work, i learned a lot, lots of good memories and lots of gelato to eat can't you tell," said DePrato.
