When the Caddick family opened their restaurant four years ago, they envisioned a modern take on a local tradition. Home to Evelyn's Villa for 30 years, The Villa offers upscale Italian-American cuisine in a relaxed and renovated setting.

Michael Pennacchia, a well-known chef who has led kitchens throughout the state for 20 years, joined the restaurant earlier this year. "It's been terrific," he says. "The owners really encourage creativity from the kitchen."
