Tonno Opens Today With Homemade Pasta and Fine Fish Dishes

The North Shore has a new dining spot as of today — Tonno is ready to debut its menu of coastal Italian seafood in Gloucester after months of extensive remodels to the restaurant space.

Tonno is the work of Anthony Caturano, the noted North End restaurateur behind the 16-year-old Prezza. Caturano crafted the menu around his favorite Italian dishes, including small plates, pastas, and both fish and meat entrees, plus desserts. Imagine piles of crudo and homemade pasta, along with tuna steaks, pork chops, and more. On the beverage side, Tonno has an extensive wine list of around 150 selections, mainly Italian, in addition to classic cocktails and craft beers.
