If you poll an group of New Yorkers, with the exception of those who live or work in the borough, how many can say they've been to the Bronx? A Yankees game doesn't count, and neither does a drive on the Cross-Bronx Expressway.
Sadly, many New York City denizens rarely stray beyond a 10 or 20-block radius because they are too comfortable in their immediate surroundings. But New York is a city to explore –– even though you'll never see it all no matter how long you live here –– and an important part of this city's culture lies in this northernmost borough.
