A little more than a year after it opened, Fairfield's Il Pellicano is ready to expand. The Italian restaurant will soon be the latest Connecticut restaurant opening a New York City location, according to a news release. Owner Massimo Tabacco said that the new location at 149 Mulberry St., in Manhattan's Little Italy neighborhood, will have a very similar menu to the Fairfield restaurant.
The release states that it will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Tabacco said that all of the New York staff, in the kitchen and wait staff, were brought to Fairfield for training before the Little Italy restaurant opens in the next week or so. "We have exactly the same feeling, the same concept and the same experience," Tabacco said.
