The newest resident in the burgeoning food scene around the Rochester Public Market, Fiorella focuses on doing a few things well. The dinner menu is a handful each of starters, pastas, pizzas and entrées. The wine list is culled to three reds and three whites; a small assortment of craft beers is offered.
Some of the prices might raise a few eyebrows, but consider that making the pizza dough is a four-day process. Pasta is handmade. Most ingredients are organic and sourced locally. All of this inevitably adds costs. I visited twice, both for dinner — once with my son, for my "official" review visit, the other an evening out with a friend.
