Join Fiorella as she explores the customs and food traditions of Southern Italy. She will detail the origins of La Vigilia: The Feast of the Seven Fishes and the foods of Natale! She will recount cooking with her family, the importance of the Presepio, Babbo Natale and the Lore of La Befana (The Christmas Witch) and the songs and games they played- like Tombola!
As a Dietitian, she will also explain the innate benefits of eating Italian style and how to make this Christmas healthy and delicious. It will be a night filled with great stories, raffle items, and a complimentary tasting menu with wine pairings from Fiorella's new recipe e-book Living in Italian: Crostini & Wine and our friends at Cento, Fratelli Beretta, Urbani Truffles, Greenblender, L'Arte del Gelato, Pure Brazilian, Safford Road, SpeakItaly NYC, Tuscanini, and Panebianco!
