Sotheby's is getting a new cafe. Sant Ambroeus — an Italian eatery with four other locations in the city — is expected to replace Sotheby's Terrace Cafe on York Avenue, according to a representative for the chain.
The chain is looking to get a liquor license for its new cafe, to accompany a menu of mostly sandwiches, pastries, panettone and cookies, according to a representative for Sant Abroeus who appeared before Community Board 8's street life committee on Tuesday.
