One of the amazing traits of being Italian is being known for hard work and perseverance. The Minissale family based in New York exemplifies those traits and are a perfect example of the American Dream.
On June 15, 1978, Philip and Agnes Minissale opened their beloved Minissale's Italian American Restaurant on 14th Street in Troy, NY. But the foundation for this family-oriented business was established decades earlier–the early 1900s, in fact–when their parents traveled to America from their respective towns in Sicily. They came here with a dream; the American Dream that they believed would come true with a hefty dose of hard work and an even heftier dose of family loyalty and tradition. Today Philip and Agnes's sons Phil & Ted Minissale keep the tradition going by running the family owned restaurant in Troy NY and recently launched a new website to share their family tradition with others.
With the website, anyone can purchase their famous homemade tomato sauce, dressings/marinades and spices/rubs right online. Everything is made fresh right in their facility and personally packed by Phil and Ted for distribution. Their products are also sold in local grocery and specialty stores along the East Coast and the website allows them to expand their reach. "We believe in close family, good friends and delicious food and the new website allows us to share that philosophy with everyone" added Phil Minissale.
The new website features a total of 6 products featuring their traditional tomato sauce and Arrabbiata sauce, traditional Sicilian dressing and Arrabbiata flavored dressing and traditional and arrabbiata flavored spices. Visit www.minissalebros.com to learn more about their products and be sure to check out their video describing their family here: http://youtu.be/HDEkENCCY0A.
