There’s a new Italian restaurant on the scene in downtown Rochester. Restaurateurs Mark Mendola and Michael Thomas Jr. hosted a grand opening of their new restaurant, D’Marcos Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar. D’Marcos is at 401 S. Main St., Rochester, in the former Rojo Mexican Bistro location.
Mendola is a business executive, who graduated from Oakland University. Along with his family, he has owned and operated restaurants in Michigan and out of state. “We’re really excited to bring great Italian cuisine and fabulous wine to downtown Rochester and become part of the amazing community,” Mendola said in a statement.
