A new Italian restaurant has opened in the former Nostalgia Ale House & Wine Bar space on Saratoga Lake. Buona Sera had its soft opening on Saturday, July 13. Buona Sera, which means “good evening” in Italian, is owned by Jimmy Hartwyk and his wife Danielle. They previously owned Biscotti Brothers Cafe and Saluti in Lake George, as well as another restaurant in New Hampshire.
The Hartwyks took over the space in April and spent the last few months renovating the restaurant. They renovated the entire space including the kitchen and bar, as well as put in new tables, chairs, and windows. Buona Sera has seating for about 165 guests.
