A new restaurant featuring unique Italian street food opened last week on MacDougal street. The joint Mr. Panzerotto specializes in the Italian classic panzerotto, which translates to "belly dough" in Italian.

Panzerotto is a half-moon shaped, fried turnover typically filled with tomato sauce and mozzarella and ham and spinach. The panzerotto resembles a calzone, except it's fried instead of baked.
