Ample selection of wine, zero natural light and you taking in some lively jazz, giving off serious Dickie Greenleaf vibes. These are the things the Producer Table is made of. It’s an underground, old-school supper club beneath Capri Ristorante in Little Italy, and it’s open to the public on a reservations-only basis Mondays and Tuesdays. We now remind you that today is Tuesday.
If you want to give your out-of-town visitors an experience they can go back and tell people about, and you can also tolerate—even, dare we say, enjoy—you’re reading about the place to do that. Having to climb below ground level always impresses people as a start, and the Rat Pack after-hours hideout atmosphere should seal the deal. Mondays, live jazz will happen on a stage at the end of the space. Movie nights are Tuesdays, and they’ll be doing a series of classic Italian films, of which there are quite a few.
