Right on the corner of a the strip mall is Zeffiro New York Pizzeria, 901 E. University Ave. The two-story restaurant is a mixture of New York City with just a touch of New Mexico. I had only been to Zeffiro Pizzeria Napoletana on Water Street, downtown, but while traveling down University Avenue, I discovered the second location.
Although similar in name, the menu and atmosphere itself is very different. The restaurant has dining upstairs and downstairs. There are bar tops and tables, as well as. This location, unlike the on Water Street, offers dine in, carry out and delivery options. It serves New York-style pizza with different menu options than its namesake.
