A family-owned Italian restaurant with locations in Shelbyville and Mount Washington is opening a Louisville location this year. Milano Italian Restaurant will open in east Louisville at 11300 Westport Road in late April or early May, owner Jonathan Balderas told The Courier Journal.
Balderas said his Shelbyville landlord, Kris Towery, also owns the building on Westport Road and convinced him to open a restaurant there. The new restaurant has been in the works for two years.
