Flying With the Stars, a two-night charity-driven dinner event, will return for its second year with three rising-star Italian chefs flown in from Milan. Sponsored by American Airlines, the two evenings of Italian-style cibo e vino — featuring food, drinks, and a high-priced silent auction — will benefit the Miami Children's Health Foundation. Dinners will be held November 11 and 12 at 93 Palm, Al Capone's former mansion. Limited tickets are available.
"We want to give guests a great night and have them eat food that they can't get every day," says Carlo Donadoni, Flying With the Stars maestro and co-owner/chef of Salumeria 104 and Midtown Oyster Bar. "And it all goes to a good cause — to help kids who are suffering." Each night will include a wine-paired six-course menu crafted by Milan-based chefs Luigi Taglienti, Alberto Buratti, and Claudio Francesco Ceriotti, along with Miami chefs Angelo Masarin and Donadoni.
