Niven Patel, the man behind one of Miami’s most successful new restaurants, Ghee Indian Kitchen, is expanding his mini culinary empire with Erba, a pasta focused restaurant debuting sometime in 2019. “When I started this career of mine I always had a fascination for pasta, and a lot of people who don’t know me perceive me as the Indian chef,” notes Patel. “My passion for pasta and all things farm-to-table and things out of the wood oven is actually even far greater than Indian food has been.”
Located just a few doors down from Ghee in Downtown Dadeland at 8865 SW 72nd Place, Erba will feature a menu of pastas, local charcuterie and cheeses, a dedicated focaccia section and more. And like his Ghee restaurants, he’ll be sourcing most of his produce from his Homestead farms, which recently expanded.
