First there was Uno Chicago Grill, then Stampede 131. Now, ladies and gentlemen, meet La Grotta Italian Grill. It opened in September to occupy the copious dining room of its predecessors — just off Interstate 75 and Daniels Parkway, but somewhat hidden.
It smelled marvelous when we walked in the door: The oak grill has stayed in the display kitchen, and the look is much the same. So what will the new management change to ensure La Grotta succeeds where others have not? I had to ask before I got too attached to the new place.
