The furniture and much of the interior looks the same inside the former Garrett's The Art of Food location in east, but everything else is changing. Including the prices. Papa Roc's Italian Grill plans a soft opening Wednesday at their 7780 Atlanta Highway space, bringing in the Mississippi Delta-based restaurant's approach to Northern Italian casual dining.
That means a menu that's heavier on herbs and cream sauces than tomato-based dishes, and entrees starting under $10. Italian artwork is being installed in each room, and the restaurant has already hired 12 servers, six cooks, three bartenders and three hosts, with plans to hire at least six more people.
