Salvetti's Italian Grill is back. Back, that is, to its old and much-loved location on Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs. The building was extensively renovated, so there is fresh paint, in lively colors, and lots of smiling people, glad to have an Italian-American restaurant back in the heart of town.
Ocean Springs may have its share of restaurants, but Salvetti's is filling a needed downtown niche. It's not a specialty pizza place, although they do have good pies. It's a family oriented Italian-American-style restaurant that is spacious, with both inside and outside dining. The courtyard offers a lovely place to sit with friends.
