The Rim is getting a brand of cafes where “drinking wine at lunch is not a crime.” Postino WineCafe, a Phoenix-based brand, is opening its first San Antonio location next spring. “Feeling a connection and alignment with a community is what drives us to open our doors and a new location,” Postino Co-Founder and CEO Lauren Bailey tells MySA.com in a statement.
“Honestly, it comes down to a feeling in my gut that this is our next home. I was born in San Antonio, so it’s a part of my personal roots. There is so much to love about the city.” The all-day restaurant and wine cafe brand has a cult-like following with current and upcoming locations throughout Texas, California, Georgia, Colorado, and Arizona. San Antonio’s 4,500-square-foot installment will be next door to Torchy’s.
