Bar Alcina, a new rooftop lounge, is now open at the East Austin Italian-American eatery Casa Bianca. Bar Alcina is the sister concept of the new east side restaurant, which launched this spring. The lounge serves bar snacks, cocktails, wine and other drinks and will host special events in the future.
"Bar Alcina is the casual, low-key counterpart to Casa Bianca. We're excited to open a space where guests can drop in for rooftop hangs or relax with a glass of wine while waiting for a table at Casa Bianca downstairs," co-founder Richard Thomas said in a statement. "We’re also planning a tiki event in October and a twice-monthly sunset film series on Tuesdays featuring Italian horror, western and crime."
