Luigi's Italian Restaurant is moving forward with plans to relocate from its 3822 Frank Phillips Blvd location to a new building on Washington Boulevard. The restaurant is developing an empty 1.5-acre plot in the 1400 block of Washington Boulevard, west of IHOP and Subway, into a 5,000-square-foot restaurant building featuring stucco and cultured stone siding with concrete roofing tiles.
Dan Keleher, the project's architect, said the new location will have more banquet space and an expanded bar. "(It will) basically (be) a larger space that's more inviting for customers," Keleher said. Also on the lot will be 3,486 square feet of retail space that can hold up to three stores.
