Luna Rossa Winery is bringing a taste of the old world to the new world. Based on the popularity of last year's Pizza Night, Sylvia D'Andrea is firing up the winery's brick oven and flavoring her Italian pies with pecan wood. "We want to bring back our Pizza Night every other Tuesday, beginning April 7," said D'Andrea, owner of the local winery and the pizzeria in Las Cruces, along with her husband, Paolo.
The success of the Pizza Nights was built by word of mouth last summer and grew to a Tuesday night following of 120 or more guests enjoying a taste of Italy.
