“We’ve had the truck for more than nine years, but we took two years to find the truck we wanted,” Gillen said. “We wanted one with some equipment already there, and we wanted a certain size. We finally found it.”
Today, many Tulsans are familiar with the sleek, black Mangiamo food truck that specializes in Italian cuisine. If it isn’t on a catering or other delivery run, or taking part in a special event, it usually can be found outside The Chizel at 34th Street and Yale Avenue, on the west side of the street across from a U-Haul business.
