If you’ve ever found yourself itching for a quick and classic Italian meal in midtown, one that would give even Carmela Soprano a run for her money, then you’ve hit it big, boss. This Sunday, September 5, Gigi’s Deli, a new project by chef Matthew Garcia, is popping up at Little Death to bring a bit of old world New York and New Jersey charm to the St. Mary’s Strip.
The Soprano Sunday party, featuring select Little Death Italian wines and Gigi’s Italian sandwiches, will celebrate the end of summer in San Antonio through an authentic homage to the acclaimed HBO series. Attendees might feel like they’re dining amongst Tony’s most trusted capo, sitting outside of the mob's local watering hole while listening to the styling's of legendary East Coast crooners like Frank Sinatra and Frankie Valli, courtesy of local act El Gallo Negro.
