You may have heard "Volare" twisting out of an oldies station during your commute, or perhaps it was the pop station of your youth. The classic Italian song has been covered by manifold artists, including famous Italian-American crooner Dean Martin.
Or maybe your associations aren't musical and you've heard of Volare because you've dined there during its 50-year run. This month, the local family-operated Italian eatery will celebrate its golden anniversary.
