Chef Errico Recanati hosts culinary classes in January

arte italia is pleased to welcome Chef Errico Recanati from Ristorante Andreina in Loreto, Ancona, Italy! Chef Recanati will guest-host culinary exhibition classes Jan. 22 - 24, 2017. Don't miss this unique opportunity! Chef Errico Recanati's philosophy is simple: "A dish must be able to excite generations, and to serve as a reminder. I seek to create an ageless kitchen, stripped of fads and close to the heart." He describes his approach to cooking as "tradition, acquired over time, merged with modern technique," and he pays special attention to the quality of raw materials and the selection of producers. Recanati's Ristorante Andreina is internationally known for its quintessential Marche-regional dishes, showcasing both meats and seafood. For each culinary class the visiting chef will prepare a traditional Italian dinner including: antipasto, primo piatto, secondo piatto and dolce.

The menus change for each class. The chef may use fish, poultry, meats, dairy products, garlic, herbs and olive oil in the recipes. Some recipes may include nuts.

All classes begin at 6 p.m. and are typically over by 8:30 p.m.
Classes are held at 442 Flint Street in Reno.

We strive to fairly allocate seating between new and former culinary participants and utilize a randomized system to select guests for each new class. Read more ...

Tuition Fees for Selected Registrants: $60 per class ($55 for seniors 65+ and students). All culinary class tuition is donated to Roman Catholic charitable organizations.
