Congratulations to the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Bologna, Italy, for its new video on "a day in Bologna". It fully conveys the astonishing charm of a city that everybody in Italy loves and admires. Tourists often pass by the Bologna train station in their journeys from Rome to Venice or from Milan to Florence, yet they do not bother to stop and look around. What a mistake!
The ultimate charm of Bologna is that it combines a wealth of historical vestiges and works of art with a vibrant modern approach to life: Bologna is industrious without being inhumane, elegant and cultivated without being pretentious, friendly and inclusive without losing its effectiveness.
