The Sky News documentary A warning from Italy, filmed in Bergamo during the first wave of covid-19 in March 2020, has won the International Emmy Award in the ‘News’ category. The hard-hitting documentary by journalist Stuart Ramsay took viewers into the emergency rooms of the Papa Giovanni XXIII hospital as well as other locations in Bergamo and featured the city's mayor Giorgio Gori.

The documentary by journalist Stuart Ramsay, with cameraman Garwen McLuckie and producers Dominique van Heerden and Simone Baglivo, recently won prizes at the British Journalism Awards for Foreign Affairs and the Royal Television Society Awards 2021.
