A candlelit dinner on the beach is just so last year. If you want a truly one-in-a-lifetime experience, this restaurant in Southern Italy that's nestled into a limestone cave and sits above a mesmerizingly blue sea is officially our new definition of date night goals.
Take a closer look: The restaurant is located in the town of Polignano a Mare (which is right near the top of the Italian "boot"). It's part of (and sits directly below) the Grotta Palazzese hotel. Even more fascinating is that the vaulted cave dates all the way back to the 1700s, meaning nobility likely roamed the same rooms you can still dine at today.
