On Monday, May 24th, forty-six graduates received their AUR bachelor degrees in International Relations and Global Politics, Archeology and Classics, Communication, Business Administration, Interdisciplinary Studies, Film and Digital Media, and their Associate Degrees in Liberal Studies. This year's graduates represented countries such as the USA, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Sudan, Syria, Sweden, The Netherlands, Serbia, Australia, Paraguay and The United Kingdom.
The ceremony was held in the beautiful settings of Villa Aurelia on the Janiculum hill, crowded with families, friends, AUR alumni, faculty and staff.
The class of 2013 was addressed by President Richard Hodges, Prof. Paul Gwynne, this year's Grand Marshall, and Guests of Honour and Honorary Degree Recipients Donna Shalala, President of the University of Miami and Adele Chatfield-Taylor, President of the American Academy in Rome. Friar Giampiero Gambaro gave the inspirational message.
AUR is proud to welcome the class of 2013 into its alumni family and wishes all graduates a splendid new beginning.
