Eataly was ranked 23rd in Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2015 list, the highest ranked food company.
CEO Nicola Farinetti stated she believes the company is a new model, not considered a market or a restaurant, which helps them be creative with events and offerings.
Panera Bread and Revolution Foods also made the list for their use of technology and healthy focus.
