By March 30, the private companies that want to bid in the public tender granting the concession to use the former royal residence of Villa Favorita, near Naples, must submit to the State Property Office an economic offer and a renewal plan for this historic property.
As the royal residence of Bourbons, the dynasty that reigned in Southern Italy from 1734 to 1861, the building sits along Campania’s state highway 18, nicknamed “Golden mile” for its historical, architectural and landscape richness. The concession must have a minimum duration of 6 years, and a maximum of 50 years.
