After an extremely hot day, the freshness of summer evenings it's a real pleasure. Even more if you are in the Gulf of Naples and can enjoy a visit to some of its most beautiful places. Wait for the sunset and you will have the choice between an archaelogy or music-inspired soiree.
At sunset, indeed, special visits to the Ancient Roman Villa of Pollione in Posillipo, a neighborhood south of Naples, are organized: the Villa was built by rich Publius Vedius Pollione and after his death in 15 BC became an Imperial property, thanks to his magnificent beauty and the proximity to the sea. Some ruins of the Villa are now underwater, protected by a marine reserve.
