Recently, while browsing the net, I stumbled upon an article by Nick Kampouris in Greek Reporter that tickled my interest about the close ties between Greek and Italian cultures. Mind, that we and the Greeks are culturally close is something we all learn when we are in Elementary school and get acquainted for the first time with the history of Antiquity.
Still, even if not surprising, it’s certainly fascinating how these two countries share so much, especially when you also think that, as mentioned by Kampouris, people in Southern Italy have a lot in common genetically with Greeks. So, it’s time to take a better look at our Greek Connections, don’t you think?
